The Events Manager leads planning and execution for a broad range of mission-driven events, overseeing project management, logistics, vendor coordination, communications, and guest experience while collaborating across departments, sponsors, community partners, and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Education, credentials, and experience:

• Four years of experience planning and managing events, including fundraising, donor, community, volunteer, or public-facing events.
• Strong project management, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills, including experience managing timelines, logistics, budgets, vendors, contracts, guest experience, communications, and stakeholder expectations across multiple projects.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with sponsors, donors, volunteers, vendors, community partners, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally to event sites and organizational locations as needed. Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Personal auto insurance compliant with TCHFH Driver's Policy.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

• Event Planning: Develops, plans and coordinates, executes engaging events for the organization.
• Fundraising: Knowledge of fundraising principles and experience with fundraising tools, such as donor databases, grant writing, and online fundraising platforms.
• Collaboration: Works effectively with others, inside and outside the organization, to achieve shared goals.
• Adaptability: Readily consider new approaches and adapt quickly to change.
• Business Perspective: Applies knowledge of the industry to advance the organization's goals.

Planning and Prioritization: Plans, organizes, and adjusts work activities and resources while mitigating risks and issues.

Union Status: This position is represented by a labor union. A first collective bargaining agreement is currently under negotiation, and terms and conditions of employment may be subject to change upon completion of the bargaining process.
