Senior Accountant

We’re hiring a Senior Accountant to take ownership of key accounting processes across close support, reconciliations, controls, and process improvement. This is not a cleanup role. The foundation is solid. Your focus will be on tightening processes, reducing rework, and building a predictable, well-run close. This role is designed to be a standard 40-hour week, with limited exceptions around deadlines. What You’ll Do Own key components of the monthly close with full accountability Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and audit-ready support Maintain clean balance sheet accounts and resolve variances proactively Complete monthly bank reconciliations and maintain strong cash controls Improve how NetSuite and Excel support accounting processes Build templates, checklists, and SOPs to drive consistency and efficiency Support sales tax processes and provide backup AP support as needed What We’re Looking For Required 3–5+ years of accounting experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or similar) Strong experience with monthly close Experience preparing reconciliations and journal entries Experience working in an ERP system Ownership mindset with strong follow-through Preferred CPA or working toward CPA Experience working with auditors Experience in a fast-paced or growing company Exposure to process improvement or system enhancements #J-18808-Ljbffr Six One Commodities
