Barista

Barista Position at Subaru of Little Rock

Subaru of Little Rock is seeking a coffee enthusiast to join our team at our newly renovated location! The barista will be responsible for preparing, serving, and collecting payment for beverages ordered by our valued customers.

Essential Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages to our customers.
• Exhibit a friendly and efficient demeanor when dealing with guests.
• Account for cash flow and inventory during shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and coffee machines.
• Provide cheerful and helpful customer service, making sure each guest feels welcomed and appreciated.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the company handbook.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to guarantee the quality of our products.
• Check products in cold unit area and restock items to ensure an adequate supply throughout the shift.
• Perform light paperwork duties as assigned.
• Complete other assigned duties or tasks.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent listening/communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to keep a clean and organized workspace.
• Customer focus and self-motivated with time management and organizational skills

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk. Occasionally required to climb; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is rarely expected to travel, however the normal day-to-day operations will be conducted in a professional office dealership setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
