About the Opportunity

BG Staffing is seeking a dependable and hardworking Apartment Maintenance Technician to support a residential community in Skokie, IL . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping properties clean and operating smoothly, and works well as part of a team.

You will assist the Maintenance Manager with daily tasks, helping ensure the property remains well-maintained and residents receive excellent service.


Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to the overall upkeep and functionality of the community, including:

• Perform light cleaning and general upkeep of common areas and property grounds
• Assist with trash removal , including hauling trash from dumpsters on designated days
• Support the Maintenance Manager with miscellaneous maintenance tasks
• Help complete resident work orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with residents

Required Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or general labor experience preferred
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and hauling materials
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks as needed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail
