MRI Technician

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an MRI Technician to support the MRI Techs in their Ambulatory Care facility. The primary responsibilities include preparing patients for exams, obtaining updates in patients' medical history, and maintaining cleanliness in patient areas.

Responsibilities / Job Duties

• Support the MRI Techs in various tasks.
• Prepare patients for exams by assisting with dressing, positioning, and escorting them to and from the exam room.
• Obtain updates in patients' medical history.
• Change room between patients and keep patient areas clean and stocked.
• Assist fellow co-workers with daily tasks such as making copies of insurance cards and IDs.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements

Qualifications

• Some (6 months-1 year+) patient care experience (MA, CNA, etc.)
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and the MRI Tech.
• Interest or background in MRI technology or imaging support roles preferred.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Schedule / Shift

Working 4, 10-hour days per week:

• Saturday 8:30am-7pm
• Sunday 8:30am-7pm
• Wednesday 7am-5:30pm
• Thursday 7am-5:30pm

Off days are Mon/Tues/Fri. Must be comfortable working every weekend as it is part of the schedule.
