2nd Shift

Monday-Friday
3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Includes $1.00/hour shift differential

Overtime

Typical workweek averages 50+ hours
Regular overtime opportunities available on Saturdays
Saturday schedule is typically 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Common schedule pattern:
- Five 10-hour shifts Monday-Friday
- Additional Saturday shift when production demands require it
Double-time pay on Sundays

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician will support a high-volume manufacturing operation producing on-highway engine components . This is a hands-on maintenance role responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of automated production equipment, robotic welding cells, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical controls.

The ideal candidate will have a strong industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, automotive maintenance, or electro-mechanical background with the ability to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical systems.

Manufacturing Environment

The facility operates across two production shifts and utilizes a combination of automated, robotic, and specialized OEM manufacturing equipment.

Technical Requirements

Electrical & Controls

Candidates should be able to:

Read and interpret electrical schematics
Understand ladder logic fundamentals
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment
Trace inputs and outputs through PLC systems
Use multimeters and electrical testing equipment
Diagnose electrical faults and control system issues

Controls Experience

Experience working with:

Allen-Bradley (AB) ControlLogix platforms
PLC I/O troubleshooting
Control panels and electrical cabinets
24VDC control systems
Power supplies
Sensors and switches
Input/output devices
110V control circuits

Mechanical Skills

Experience maintaining and troubleshooting:

Hydraulic systems
Pumps
Pneumatic systems
Industrial machinery
Automated manufacturing equipment

Additional Preferred Experience

Welding knowledge or hands-on welding experience
Manufacturing maintenance experience
Multi-craft maintenance background
Automotive technician experience
Experience working around higher-voltage electrical systems
Robotics troubleshooting and maintenance exposure
