Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:
The Travel ECHO Tech is responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnostic assessments. This role requires working in a busy hospital environment with high-acuity patients and collaborating with medical staff to deliver quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform adult echocardiography and vascular ultrasound procedures with precision and professionalism.
• Maintain current certifications and stay updated on advanced ultrasound techniques.
• Follow departmental protocols to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging.
• Collaborate effectively with cardiologists, technicians, and nursing staff.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience or completion of an accredited echocardiology course.
• Valid ARDMS or ARRT credential in adult echocardiography.
• Current certification in vascular ultrasound.
• Working towards or attained additional registries in related specialties.
• Strong ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
