Office Assistant II

Pay: $26-$28/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 20 hours/week (4 hours/day)
Start: Immediate | Contract through end of year
Responsibilities:
- Manage confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Process incoming mail, medical record requests, and legal subpoenas
- Scan and prepare secure digital documents (PDFs)
- Route digital faxes and Workers' Compensation claims
- Track and process invoices (basic bookkeeping)
- Maintain filing systems (physical and digital)
- Support light HR administrative tasks
- Serve as front desk contact for visitors and inquiries
- 4-7 years of administrative experience
- Healthcare or medical office experience preferred
- Strong organizational and data privacy skills
- Experience with scanning, document management, and invoicing
- Familiarity with Workers' Compensation processes is a plus
