RS Moving & Warehousing is seeking a Moving Supervisor/Driver to lead safe, professional moving operations for residential and commercial customers in Mobile, AL.
Position SummaryThe Moving Supervisor/Driver is responsible for overseeing day-to-day moving activities while safely transporting customers’ belongings to their destinations. This role combines hands-on driving and moving with leadership in the field to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, accurately, and with exceptional customer service.
You will coordinate crew activities, maintain quality standards, and represent the company professionally throughout each move—from loading and securing items to delivery and final walkthrough.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and participate in all aspects of loading, transport, unloading, and delivery of customer goods.
Ensure vehicles are operated safely and in compliance with applicable driving and safety regulations.
Lead crew workflow to meet job schedules while maintaining proper handling, organization, and workmanship.
Properly secure and protect goods during transit to reduce damage and minimize rework.
Provide clear, respectful communication with customers throughout the moving process.
Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a company vehicle safely.
Two years of driving experience preferred.
Proven experience driving and/or working in a delivery or moving environment.
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items safely and consistently throughout the day.
Strong time management skills with the ability to follow schedules and manage job-day priorities.
Reliable, professional demeanor and commitment to safe work practices.
Prior experience supervising a moving crew or leading field operations.
Familiarity with proper packing, loading techniques, and securing cargo for transport.
Customer service experience in a fast-paced, hands-on service environment.
Comfort working independently and making on-the-spot decisions to keep jobs on track.
Hourly rate: $18 - $21
