Heavy Equipment Technician Lead

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on intermodal heavy equipment in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Read electrical and hydraulic schematics * Repair and maintain heavy equipment * Perform detailed equipment inspections and preventative maintenance following Responds to any customer related equipment requests * Ensure compliance in all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries. * Assist in delivering required training to ensure that all co-workers have the adhere to all company-wide policies to eliminate and/or reduce exposure to Special projects or work as assigned. * As A Mechanical Lead, additional responsibilities include:

* Serving as the primary point of contact for communication with local facility Coordinate with internal teams to secure necessary parts and third-party Perform administrative tasks and maintain accurate computer records * Collaborate directly with the Regional Manager and billing team * Ensure customer systems are updated regularly and accurately * Manage and prioritize the workload of fellow on-site technicians

High school diploma or equivalent * equipment (e.g., forklifts, man lifts) * Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills * Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics * Willing to work outdoors in all weather and around loud machinery * Experience in administrative support or operations coordination

* Strong organization and time management

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and service management software

* Customer-focused with effective problem-solving skills to support facility operations

Experience with scheduling, work order management, or technician dispatching * Familiarity with basic parts and service procurement processes

This role requires employees to be on-site during shift hours.
