Customer Support Specialist (Call Center) Location: Long Island City (On-Site) Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $20$22/hour, based on experience Reports to: Director of Operations Fluent in English and Spanish (Required) About the Role Kommissary is a social enterprise on a mission to spread joy through food. We produce and deliver high volumes of meals spanning a diverse array of cuisines to every demographic in New York City. We're looking for a bilingual Customer Support Specialist to join our call center team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our English- and Spanish-speaking customers, providing friendly, accurate, and efficient support over the phone and by email. Responsibilities Answer inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries in both English and Spanish Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, questions, and complaints professionally Accurately document customer interactions and update account records in the CRM Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor when needed Meet or exceed individual performance metrics (call quality, handle time, customer satisfaction) Follow company scripts, policies, and procedures while maintaining a natural, helpful tone Stay current on product/service knowledge, promotions, and policy changes Requirements Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (required verbal and written) High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of customer service or call center experience preferred Strong communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills Comfortable using computers and CRM software Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and patience Reliable attendance and punctuality What We Offer $20$22/hour based on experience Health benefits including vision and dental, 401k, commuter benefits Opportunities for growth and advancement
