Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals trained in electronic assembly of switches for various sectors, including military, government, agriculture, and healthcare. The role involves working with small parts, requiring excellent hand-eye dexterity. Successful candidates will use hand tools to build different component parts, gather necessary materials, and place components onto PC boards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic switches using precision hand tools.

• Handle small parts with accuracy and dexterity.

• Work independently at a personal station, maintaining focus and attention to detail.

• Stand or sit throughout the day as required by the task.

• Consistently meet production goals in a laid-back yet result-oriented environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience with electronic assembly and soldering.

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to work effectively with small/precision hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Solder certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience with pick and place equipment can lead to adjusted pay rates.

Work Environment

The role is situated in a manufacturing environment, featuring long rows with multiple workstations. Employees can expect regular temperature checks upon arrival and before the end of their shifts. The environment is relaxed but demands effective and independent work, with shifts available from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and 3:45 pm to 12:15 am. Opportunities for overtime are available, contributing to a 50-60 hour work week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Grange, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
