Mid-Level Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist Base pay range: $75,300.00 /yr – $100,000.00/yr. Location: Midwest (Kansas City, MO; Saint Louis, MO; Minneapolis, MN; Chicago, IL; Milwaukee, WI; Cincinnati, OH). Key Responsibilities Lead and manage field projects, overseeing soil and groundwater sampling, drilling, and subcontractor oversight. Collaborate with subcontractors, internal staff, and subject matter experts to coordinate work. Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and design and implement pilot remedial systems. Mentor and support project team members, guiding them toward common goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, or a closely related field. 5–10 years of professional experience delivering environmental site characterization and remediation projects, including field methodologies and data assessment. Experience with on‑site subcontractor oversight and leading multidisciplinary teams. 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain it. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in engineering, geology, or related discipline. Professional registration (e.g., Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist) or intent to obtain. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail in field and data analysis.
