Community Unit School District 308 (SD308) is seeking qualified candidates to become School Bus Drivers for the district. Start/End Times: Vary based on routes split shift is generally between 5:45am-9:15am and 1:45pm-5:15pm. Compensation: $24.00 p/h (Rate of pay could be adjusted up to compensate for experience.) Monthly attendance bonus Longevity bonus Please note that the hourly rate of pay is inclusive of the mandatory 4.5% retirement contribution to the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF). Qualifications: 21 years of age (or older) with high school diploma or equivalent. Skills necessary to operate a school bus safely, communicate effectively, follow determined schedules. In a timely manner, handle emergency situations, evaluations and administer first aid. Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug, alcohol, background and TB testing. Exceptional driving record. Knowledge of or ability to learn safety.
