Manufacturing Process Engineer

Located in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, we are part of GZ Media’s global print and packaging division, bringing decades of engineering and manufacturing expertise to advanced production. As our U.S. facility continues to ramp up, we are looking for a hands-on Process Engineer to take ownership of production lines and drive performance, reliability, and continuous improvement. If you enjoy working directly with machines, solving real production problems, and improving manufacturing processes, this is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact. What You’ll Do • Own and support manufacturing processes on assigned production lines • Monitor and improve key metrics such as OEE, throughput, and downtime • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to restore stable production quickly • Work directly with operators and maintenance to improve machine performance • Analyze production data and implement process improvements • Develop and maintain standard work, procedures, and process documentation • Lead or support Lean / continuous improvement initiatives • Support equipment startups, process validation, and production ramp-up • Train operators and technicians on process standards and best practices What We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related) • 3–5+ years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing engineering • Hands-on experience with industrial production equipment • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Experience working with production data and performance metrics • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or CI tools • Ability to work cross-functionally with production, maintenance, and quality teams • Comfortable working on the production floor in a fast-paced environment Why Join GZ Printpak? • Be part of a growing U.S. manufacturing startup backed by a global leader • Opportunity to own production processes and make a direct impact • Work in a highly hands-on engineering environment • Strong growth potential as operations scale Benefits • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) with company match • Paid time off and company holidays About GZ Printpak At GZ Printpak, engineers play a direct role in shaping how our manufacturing systems perform and evolve.
