Associate B, Receiving

Job Summary The Shipping Associate is responsible for picking and packing customer orders with power equipment. Compensation: $20.00 per hour. Schedule: Friday - Sunday (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) Responsibilities Move/sort product from the receiving dock to the appropriate warehouse pick/storage location by powered equipment according to current receiving guidelines. (Minimum of 50% of time). Perform general receiving, unload product from various transportation carriers, check in product and match purchase orders to pack lists. Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods. Organize warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times. Complete additional duties as assigned. Functional Requirements Mental Functions: The incumbent performs tasks independently, may provide technical support, design and analysis, and make recommendations. Supervisory responsibilities may occur occasionally. Work is performed under general supervision of an immediate supervisor who reviews completed work for judgment and compliance with standards. Physical Functions: Standing 20%, Walking 50%, Lifting 30% Work Environment Warehouse environment with moderate temperature changes. Minimal health hazards; forklift work present.
