Opportunity Details

Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Fellowship training in Headache Medicine required
- State of Michigan License
- Expertise in managing complex headache disorders, including chronic migraine, cluster headache, and medication overuse headache
- Proficiency with headache procedures such as botulinum toxin injections and nerve blocks
- Strong communication and patient education skills
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Evaluating and managing patients with primary and secondary headache disorders
- Performing procedures such as Botox for chronic migraine and peripheral nerve blocks
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including pain management, behavioral health, and primary care
- Developing individualized treatment plans, including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic approaches
- Educating patients on lifestyle modifications, treatment adherence, and migraine management strategies
- Participating in team-based care initiatives and quality improvement projects
