About the Position

Job Title: Tele Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: IMC/MS Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 12 Hours per Shift: 12 (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Experience: Minimum 2 years current nursing experience License: RN license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Dysrhythmia management experience Description: The position is for a Tele Nurse in an IMC/MS unit. The focus will be on adult inpatient care. The unit is a 23-bed medicine floor with telemetry capabilities. Patient populations served include cardiac, pulmonary, GI/GU, infectious disease, psychiatric, and substance abuse. The work schedule requires every third weekend. Holidays will be covered as needed. There is a floating requirement within the caregiver's skill set. Availability for on-call shifts is required, with a minimum of two 12-hour shifts every six weeks. Experience with electronic medical records systems is preferred. Candidates with prior travel assignments are also preferred.
