West Central PA Non-Invasive Opportunity-46 miles NE of Pittsburgh!

Job Description

Join a Cardiology team just 46 miles from Pittsburgh. This position is a mix of both inpatient and outpatient.  There is one full-time Cardiology NPs and 2 part-time NPs.  There is an Interventional Cardiologist onsite 7 days/month. APPs work M-F.  \n

\nOnce ramped up fully, the average patients per day is around 22-24.  Office hours are M-F and you can choose your schedule.  You can come in early or later, your choice.\n
\nServices include:\n
\nCardiac testing\n
\nEKGs - ranges from 70-130 one day per week (schedule for EKGs)\n
\nEcho Machine reads - around 30 per day\n
\nHeart monitoring - 0-10 per day\n
\nStress tests - rounding cardiologist is in room for stress tests - about 2-8 each morning\n
\n
\nCall- 1 week per month - Tuesday-Tuesday***when on call no outpatient is required - Rounding during call is from 8-4:30 and then you can return home\n
\nVery rare to get called to come onsite\n
\n24 hour Hospitalists onsite\n
\n24 hour interventional onsite\n
\n24 hour intensivists onsite\n
\n
\nThe non-invasive cardiologist just receives updates on their own patients that are going into the cath lab\n
\nOutpatient Clinic is less than 1 mile from hospital\n
\nTEEs and cardioversiona are done at the hospital\n
\n
\nCompensation - Base is 50th-75th MGMA %\n
