Come join the 7,000 employees worldwide working at Primetals Technologies, a Group Company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.We are looking to hire CNC Machinists at our New London, OH!ResponsibilitiesOperates computer numerical controlled (CNC) machinery that automatically mills, punches, drills, broaches or reams metal and/or plastic partsMakes tool adjustments to adhere to established specificationsWorks from drawings and written instructions to create replacement and new parts in making repairs to metal partsWork is routine and machining is performed to ordinary tolerancesRequires basic knowledge of various metals and of measurements used in machining processesMonitors work to ensure that machine is not malfunctioningPerforms housekeeping of machine and work areaPerforms daily maintenance check of machineOther work may be assigned at Management's discretionEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or Equivalent.Prefer experience with CNC Machining. Classification and base pay rate will be dependent upon skillset and prior experience.Crane/Forklift – In-house training provided to obtain certificationProper use of Safety Equipment such as Safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses and glovesProper use of tools such as Inside and Outside Micrometers, Depth Micrometer, Calipers, Bore Gages and other General Hand ToolsPrimetals Technologies offers a full range of benefits starting with first day of employment.
