Shift Manager

Job Overview We are moving beyond the classic fast‑food experience. As a Shift Manager at Wendy’s, you’ll bring energy, service excellence, and operational results to a fast‑moving restaurant. Responsibilities Act as the front‑line leader and accountability partner for all shift activities. Handle all customer interactions—positive or negative—delivering the right solution. Onboard new team members, ensuring they cover safety, quality, and operational standards. Maintain food‑safety standards and procedures throughout the shift. Travel to other Wendy’s locations or area office as needed. Stand and move for the majority (or all) of your shift, lift up to 25–50 lbs as required, and handle weather‑related duties such as drive‑thru weather conditions. Operate branded equipment such as headsets, registers, and grills while following brand standards. Qualifications At least one year of restaurant work experience. High school diploma or GED (college or military experience also welcomed). Proven leadership, management, and organizational experience in a fast‑paced environment. Strong problem‑solving, customer service, and decision‑making skills. Proficiency at providing and receiving direction. Flexible work availability. Required Abilities & Work Conditions Willingness and ability to travel to additional Wendy’s locations. Physical capability to stand and move most of the shift, lift 25–50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions. Use of a headset, register, grill, and other equipment in compliance with brand guidelines. Benefits & Compensation Weekly pay and direct deposit or pay cards.
