Our Assistant Swim Team Coach assists in conducting quality practices which foster a positive swimming experience, educational experience, aid in personal development, and contributes to self discipline for the children in our program.

HOURS: Between 4-9pm Monday -Thursday and 4-6:30pm on Friday. We can work around your schedule.
The Assistant Swim Team Coach assists in conducting quality practices which foster a positive swimming experience that will provide an educational experience, aid personal development, contribute to self discipline and provide a rewarding experience for our Swim Team members.
Responsibilities:
- Assists Swim Team Head Coach during practice
- Ensures safe environment for all swimmers and spectators
- Provides instruction in stroke technique as well as starts and turns.
- Develops and administers strong team discipline at all times
- Attends scheduled swim meets as needed
- Builds team leadership, encourages good sportsmanship, team loyalty, hard work and courteous, respectful behavior.
- Demonstrates a cheerful, positive attitude.
Qualifications:
- Competitive swimming experience at the high school level or collegiate level required.
- Must possess and maintain current Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR/AED certifications.
- Safety Training for Swim Coaches certification is desired.
