Maintenance Mechanic

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in West Hazleton, PA . Details for the position are as follows: Direct Hire Full Time job. Pay rate: $35.42/hr W2 with benefits. Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Location: West Hazleton, PA Duration: Direct Hire Full Time Shift hours: 2:30pm – 10:30pm M-F. Required: Minimum 3 years of current or recent Industrial Maintenance experience MUST HAVE – Experience maintaining, repairing and installing packaging machinery and equipment. MUST HAVE – Experience troubleshooting and repairing 480-volt 3 phase equipment. Intermediate to advanced skills in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and experience with machine shop equipment Basic welding and electrical skills Experience in an ISO and/or GMP regulated environment. High school diploma or GED required (vocational/technical coursework preferred) Job Description: Responsibilities: Industrial Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing packaging machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner within budgetary constraints. Ensure operation of mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance and aid in troubleshooting technical issues; demonstrated ability to identify issues, conduct root cause analysis and take action to fix issues. Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop equipment, troubleshoot and repair 480 volt 3 phase equipment Manage self-directed projects from inception to completion; able to work in a team-based environment but can complete tasks on their own Willing to work extended shift hours and weekend overtime as necessary Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of current or recent Industrial Maintenance experience; high school diploma or GED required (vocational/technical coursework preferred) Intermediate to advanced skills in mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and experience with machine shop equipment Basic welding and electrical skills Intermediate level computer skills (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, e-mail).
