Responsibilities Title: Physical Therapist Location/work environment: In facility Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab As a Physical Therapist, you help patients get well. You bring their power back by assessing patient needs, developing recovery plans, and delivering physical therapy. You are a healer and a helper, adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. Your goal is the design of a program that restores, reinforces, and enhances their physical abilities. You adapt to the needs of the patient and find joy in the variety of work settings. You collaborate with peers and may refer patients to other care providers as needed. You educate patients and caregivers on the skills they need to promote independence and productivity. If this sounds like you, we’d love to meet you. Qualifications Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility. Must have a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; or Must have a Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; or Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience. The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
