Registered Nurse - Cardiac

Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) independently plans, implements, and evaluates patient care on a Telemetry Medical Surgical unit, providing direct nursing services to adult and geriatric patients requiring cardiac monitoring. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute individualized care plans aligned with standards, policy, and patient needs. Coordinate care delivery and employ patient teaching to promote health and safety. Evaluate patient progress and adjust care strategies accordingly. Practice ethically, integrate current evidence into nursing practice, and contribute to quality improvement activities. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Demonstrate leadership, support shared decision‑making, and utilize resources to ensure safe, effective, and cost‑efficient care. Participate in unit committees and quality initiatives, fostering a safe and healthy environment. Qualifications & Skills Licensed as an RN or APRN in Florida. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from recognized organizations. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
