Foamer

Join our team as a Foamer where you will play a critical role in our tire production process. In this role, you will be responsible for foaming heavy construction tires, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Load heavy construction tires onto the foaming machine.
• Drill a hole in the tire using a drill.
• Initiate and monitor the air/foaming process.
• Pay close attention to the machine's operation via its touch screen to ensure it runs correctly.
• Start and stop the foam/air process based on specific pressure levels.
• Reinsert the nail into the drilled hole after the process.
• Roll finished tires for the material specialist to handle.

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of production experience.
• Solid work history of at least 6 months.
• Ability to work on knees for 8 hours a day.
• Capability to lift 60+ lbs consistently throughout the day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a machine operator.
• General production worker skills.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• No specific education qualifications are required.

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that can get very hot during the summer months. The work involves being around moving forklifts and large tires, with exposure to chemicals in the foam area and potential smoke from tire branding.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $13.50 - $13.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
