*This is a part-time position with less than 25 hrs a week.
Morelia Gourmet Paletas (a.k.a. Paletas Morelia) is unique ice cream bar shop where guests are invited to customize their ice cream bar with different dippings and toppings, creating almost endless flavor combinations. Our ice cream is always hand made with the freshest ingredients available. Our stores are colorful, vibrant and a happy place! Our team is always eager to provide excellent customer service and encouraged to help our guest with their creations. Our goal is to provide The Best Ice Cream Experience!!
Hourly Pay Rate from $15 - $19 (Base + Tips) which could vary depending on seasonality.
As a team member your responsibilities are:
- Create the best ice cream experience for each of our guests:
Guide guests through the Morelia experience. (Pick it, Dip it, Top it)
Respond to guest needs and solve problems with a sense of urgency
Maintain a clean and neat workstation; complete thorough cleaning of guest indoor and outdoor areas
- Conduct store operations:
Follow store opening and closing procedures related to food safety, POS, cleanliness and other daily mandatory tasks
Comply with all food safety, brand, and store policies.
- Be a team member:
Communicate appropriately with fellow team members, treating others fairly and with respect.
Respond positively to feedback and direction given
Hold yourself accountable for your responsibilities on your shift
Adhere to schedule and arrive ready to work on time
Problem Solving and Decision Making – make good decisions based on analysis, experience and good judgment.
What is required?
Stand on your feet for long periods of time and perform tasks in close proximity to others - Typically shifts of 5 - 7 hours.
Be available to take a minimum of two on-call shifts each month.
Pay starts at $15.00 plus tips (Current team members average between $15 - $19 an hour with tips). Previous experience in the food service industry is a plus, but not required. Customer service experience is required. We are equal opportunity employer, and we welcome diversity.'Hours per week:
