Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights Location: Hastings, MI 49058 (Onsite) Schedule: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM 36 hours/week Every other weekend No on‑call Pay: $45.00–$52.00/hr (competitive, based on experience) Summary Hiring a Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a busy inpatient acute care environment. Responsibilities Provide evidence‑based bedside nursing care aligned with ANA standards and facility policies Perform head‑to‑toe assessments, identify changes in condition, and elevate concerns appropriately Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans; evaluate outcomes and adjust interventions Administer medications and treatments safely (including IV therapy per scope and policy) Perform point‑of‑care testing as required and document results accurately Coordinate care with providers and the care team to support continuity across the inpatient stay Provide patient/family education and support discharge planning to ensure safe transitions of care Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) Delegate appropriately to support staff to promote safe, efficient patient care Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and unit competencies Qualifications Active, unrestricted Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross) Current ACLS Current NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification Ability to work 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM and every other weekend Strong clinical judgment, communication, time management, and teamwork skills Comfortable in an inpatient med‑surg / acute care setting with multiple priorities Scrub color: Navy Blue #J-18808-Ljbffr A-Line Staffing Solutions
