Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This role involves working in a dynamic surgical environment, focusing on a variety of procedures within the surgical specialty. - Perform a variety of technical duties in the operating room
- Assist with tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, appendectomy, and cholecystectomy
- Handle colon resections - Open/LAP and hernia repairs
- Support thyroidectomy, abdominal hysterectomy, and gynecologic robotic surgery
- Participate in total hip and knee replacements, cystoscopy, and nephrectomy
- Ensure safety procedures like fire safety, aseptic technique, and specimen handling
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience
- Valid BLS certification
- CST or NBSTSA certification required
- Proficiency in surgical procedures and safety competencies
- No hits on license are allowed
