Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Lenexa, KS, 66227. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of diesel engines and related systems, ensuring our fleet operates smoothly and efficiently. If you have a passion for mechanics and enjoy troubleshooting complex issues, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues.
Replace or repair faulty components, including fuel injectors, brakes, and transmissions.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in diesel mechanics preferred.
Proven experience as a diesel, semi trailer repair & welding or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
