Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented InterventionalRadiology (IR) Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures while ensuring patient safety and delivering exceptional care. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality patient experiences. Responsibilities Assist physiciansduring interventional radiology procedures such as angiograms,biopsies, and vascular interventions Prepare patientsforprocedures, including explaining processes, obtaining consent,and ensuring safety and comfort Operate imagingequipment (e.g., fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to capturehigh-quality images throughout procedures Monitor patients'vital signs and condition, providing support during andafter procedures Ensure steriletechnique and proper handling of equipment and supplies Maintainaccuratedocumentation of procedures, patient records, and imagingdata Collaborate withphysicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensureoptimal patient outcomes Adhere to all safety,infection control, and radiation protection protocols Requirements Qualifications: Associate's orBachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or relatedfield Completion of anaccredited radiologic technologist program ARRT certification inRadiography (R); additional certification inVascular-Interventional (VI) or Cardiac-Interventional (CI)preferred Current state license(as required) 1-2 years ofexperience in interventional radiology, cath lab, orrelated specialty (preferred) Strong technicalskills and knowledge of radiology equipment andprocedures Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills Commitment to patientsafety, privacy, and compassionate care #J-18808-Ljbffr
