Information Security Analyst

Profession Information Security City Washington DC USA The role of the Information Security Analyst is to protect and secure our organizations sensitive information and systems from potential cyber threats As an Information Security Analyst you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments implementing security measures monitoring network activity and responding to security incidents This is a full-time position based in Washington DC Key Responsibilities Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to our information systems Implementing security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Monitoring network activity for any suspicious or malicious behavior and taking necessary actions to mitigate risks Responding promptly to security incidents investigating and conducting forensic analysis when necessary Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement incident response plans Staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies in order to continuously improve our organizations security posture Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security or related field Experience with biometric passport technology is preferred but not required Strong understanding of network protocols firewalls intrusion detectionprevention systems vulnerability management tools etc Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and analyze results to make informed recommendations for improvements Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this role This is a full-time position with standard working hours We value diversity in our workplace and encourage all qualified individuals from different backgrounds to apply If you are passionate about information security and have the required experience we would love to hear from you #J-18808-Ljbffr
