Medical Assistant | MemorialCare – Dana Point, CA
Location: 32585 Golden Lantern St, Ste E, Dana Point, CA 92629
Duration: 8 weeks
Shift: Day Shift
MemorialCare is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its outpatient team in Dana Point, CA. The ideal candidate must have EPIC experience and at least one year of experience in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians with patient care, including vital signs, EKGs, and injections
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment for procedures
- Document patient interactions using EPIC
- Perform front and back-office duties as needed
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility protocols
- Experience: 1+ year as a Medical Assistant (required)
- EPIC experience: Required
- First-time travelers: Accepted
- Floating: Not required
- On-call & Weekends: Not required
- Pay Rate: $15.00-$19.00/hour
- Overtime: 1.5x after 12 hours/day or 60 hours/week
- Holiday Pay: Includes New Year's Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
- RTO Policy:
- Must be pre-approved and included at the time of submission
- Vaccination Requirements:
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
- Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
- Candidates must reside within 50-75 miles of the facility
