Job Summary:
As a Teller at Tuscaloosa VA Federal Credit Union, you will be the face of our company, providing excellent customer service while handling a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently. You will play a critical role in helping customers meet their financial needs and educating them about our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner

  • Process routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing

  • Balance cash drawer daily and ensure all transactions are processed accurately

  • Identify customer needs and refer them to appropriate banking staff or services

  • Maintain and follow all security procedures and compliance regulations

  • Resolve customer inquiries and concerns efficiently and professionally

  • All other duties assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Previous cash handling or customer service experience preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with banking software is a plus
