job summary: Drive advanced modeling and AI solutions that directly shape commercial strategies across Marketing, Sales, and Access. As a hands-on technical leader and strategic thought partner, you will build scalable machine learning pipelines, solve complex commercial challenges, and turn complex data into measurable business value in a high-impact healthcare environment. location: Cambridge, Massachusetts job type: Contract salary: $85 - 90 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Masters responsibilities: Lead end-to-end development, deployment, and scaling of predictive models, segmentation, NLP, and optimization solutions for U.S. commercial brand teams. Frame complex business questions, evaluate analytical trade-offs, and translate findings into actionable strategies for marketing, sales, and access leadership. Partner with IT to build MLOps environments, fine-tune model performance based on user feedback, and deliver productized analytical tools. Manage relationships with external analytics vendors and collaborate with cross-functional data, engineering, and compliance teams. Establish analytical rigor, responsible AI experimentation, and model governance standards. qualifications: Required: 7+ years of hands-on analytics or data science experience, including at least 4+ years leading data science projects or teams. Strong command of statistical modeling supervised and unsupervised learning, A/B testing, and time-series forecasting. Experience deploying data science solutions in a commercial setting-ideally within pharma, biotech, or healthcare. Proficient in Python, SQL, Databricks and Snowflake; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools. Experience working with APLD, PlanTrak, specialty pharmacy, or claims datasets. Strong communication and influencing skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Preferred: Master's degree in data science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
