Senior Logistics Coordinator

Job description

We are looking for a competent Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the Air import/export operations of our company from end to end. You will be the one to coordinate personnel, subcontractors and processes to achieve the effective project management of shipments. A great asset for a Logistics Coordinator is their attention to detail, communication, and negotiation skills. They are well-versed in supply management principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor AIR import and export moves cradle to grave.

Vet, hire and coordinate logistics subcontractors (e.g. truck drivers, airlines) according to availabilities and project requirements

Supervise your own shipments as assigned

Communicate with suppliers, vendors, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mission success

Price, plan, quote, and track shipments beginning to end

Skills

Proven experience as logistics coordinator highly preferred.

Experience in customer service will be appreciated

Ability to work independently and track multiple processes concurrently

Computer-savvy

Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Must be US CITIZEN
