Responsibilities Description: An Aircraft Mechanic I shall perform inspections, repairs, modifications, and installations on C-12 aircraft avionics, wiring, components and flight controls. Operates ground support equipment and flight line vehicles. Must be able to read, write, and interpret instructions, technical manuals and/or directives necessary for the accomplishment of job assignment. The Aircraft Mechanic I reports directly to ACI Supervisors.

Duties and Responsibilities: The primary functions of an "Aircraft Mechanic I" and which can be performed without direct supervision include:

• Performs tasks as assigned/directed by Crew Team Leader, Lead man, Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Supervisor, and/or Site Manager in accordance with instructions, applicable technical data, manuals, and directives.
• Evaluates aircraft discrepancies to identify proper methods for repair. Identifies necessary parts, materials and tooling requirements to complete task.
• Utilizes manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, Maintenance Engineering Directives, schematics, drawings, blueprints, charts and other applicable publications to install, test, troubleshoot and ensure aircraft modifications are accomplished in a timely manner.
• Inspect for corrosion, treat and repair discrepancies. Perform touch up painting and apply decals and labels. Prepare aircraft components for paint.
• Comply with and follow established standards of workmanship, safety, quality, and production.

Qualifications Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

• A&P License
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Airframe, mechanical and electrical experience - preferred.
