Registered Nurse - NICU

Location: McKinney, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7A - 7P

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) who will be responsible for providing high-quality care to newborns. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in a Level III NICU and be comfortable attending deliveries, including C-sections.

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
Monitor and assess patient health, administer medications, and document care in Meditech and CPNS.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Attend deliveries as required, ensuring a smooth transition of care for neonates.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in a NICU setting.
Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License.
BLS Certification.
NRP Certification.
