Job Description Job Description Step into an exciting opportunity as a school psychologist supporting elementary students during the 2026/27 school year. This contract role covers a leave from mid-December through mid/late March, ideal for professionals seeking flexibility and variety in their work setting. The position is based onsite near Wilmington, DE, with the added option for a hybrid schedule: three days per week onsite at an elementary campus and two days working remotely from home. Your role will be central in conducting assessments, collaborating with educators and families, and supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic success. Desired Experience & Qualifications: Valid School Psychologist certification and relevant state licensure required Previous experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with both colleagues and families Familiarity with MTSS, IEP processes, and current best practices in school psychology Primary Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and interpret assessment results Develop and recommend evidence-based interventions and strategies Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including IEP and eligibility conferences Deliver counseling and consultative services as needed to support student success Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and administrators to foster positive learning environments Enjoy the unique advantages of a hybrid schedule- a balanced mix of onsite engagement and remote work- while making a meaningful impact with a supportive school team. #p31 #J-18808-Ljbffr
