Medical Technologist – Blood Bank
Schedule: Weekend schedule: Every third weekend Holiday coverage requirements: Travelers may be required to work major holidays during assignment.

Requirements: Minimum 2 years clinical laboratory/Blood Bank experience Travel experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers Acceptable certifications: ASCP, ASCP MT, ASCP-BB, AMT, ABB Core Blood Bank skills including ABO/Rh, antibody screen & ID, crossmatch, blood product handling, transfusion reaction workup, specimen accessioning, labeling, QA/quality controls, and general clinical lab testing.
Roles & Responsibilities: Perform routine blood bank testing, including crossmatches and antibody identifications. Ensure the quality and safety of blood and blood products. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage transfusion therapies. Maintain compliance with laboratory protocols and quality assurance standards. Handle transfusion reactions and blood product discrepancies.
