This position requires participation in an on-call rotation. Duties and Responsibilities: Participates as a member of a team providing plumbing, steam, and other trade services to complete assigned projects Services, maintains, inspects, and repairs plumbing, steam, fire sprinkler, food service, heating, and other equipment as assigned Installs plumbing, steam, or other equipment as assigned. Installation may include design and/or specification elements Assignments are completed in a timely and correct manner according to code, policy, and regulations Records and provides information as requested Communicates important information to the supervisor or other designated individuals Qualifications: Required: Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with commercial, institutional, and residential plumbing, heating, steam equipment, fire sprinklers, food service equipment, welding, soldering, and plumbing code Master level plumbing/steam fitting skills Good written and oral communication skills Skilled in dealing with a wide assortment of personalities, both directly and indirectly Master plumber certification required within 2 years of hire Backflow certification is required within 2 years of hire A Valid Driver's License Additional Posting Information: Conditions of Employment: Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check. and an acceptable MVR.
