About the Position

Our client is seeking experienced Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers for a local delivery position in The Bronx. This role offers $22 per hour, overtime after 40 hours, and the opportunity for a temp-to-perm position. Drivers will deliver specialty foods, meats, and dairy products to commercial businesses, schools, and markets throughout New York City, Westchester, and Long Island.

Pay rate: $22 per hour
Overtime available after 40 hours
Estimated weekly pay: $1,210
Schedule: 5-day work week
Start time: 4:30 a.m.
Average hours: 10 hours per day

Job Details

Route type: Local
Delivery areas: New York City, Westchester, and Long Island
Freight: Specialty foods, meats, and dairy
Equipment: 26-foot refrigerated box truck
Handling: Heavy-touch deliveries using a hand cart or pallet jack
Physical requirements include navigating stairs while completing deliveries

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a non-CDL 26-foot refrigerated box truck
Complete local deliveries to commercial businesses, schools, and markets
Handle and transport specialty foods, meats, and dairy products
Load, unload, and move freight using a hand cart or pallet jack
Navigate stairs and complete physically demanding deliveries
Maintain safe and professional service throughout each route

Minimum Requirements

1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Valid drivers license
Valid DOT medical card
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
