Join our team to experience flexible scheduling, administrative support, and a stellar in-house training program.Licensed Mental Health Therapist ResponsibilitiesConduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plansProvide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalitiesActively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goalsComplete timely and compliant clinical documentationFull Time: Maintain an active caseload of approximately 5–6 clients per day; minimum of 25 clients per week requiredPart Time: Maintain an active caseload of approximately 3-4 clients per day; minimum of 15 clients per week requiredParticipate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as requiredAdhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policiesCompensation & BenefitsCompensation: Starting at $40 per hour; paid bi-weekly$40-$60/hour for Master's Level Therapists$50-$75/hour for Doctoral Level TherapistsEstimated annual earning potential of up to $115,000 w/ benefits401(k) retirement plan with employer matchStudent loan repayment support*Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and eligible dependents*HSA (with employer contribution) and FSA options to help manage healthcare and dependent care expenses*Employer-paid life insurance and AD&D coverage*Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with confidential mental health and life support resources*Generous paid time off and additional paid holidays*Case consultation with colleaguesMalpractice insurance and all overhead expenses covered by the practiceBilling, credentialing, scheduling, and intake supportFlexible scheduling and telehealth options *Indicates benefits available only to full-time W-2 EmployeesRequirementsLicensed Mental Health Therapist Required QualificationsActive, unrestricted license: Psychologist (PsyD or PhD), LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LPCC in California (Active & Registered with BBS/BOP)Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related fieldStrong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT)Ability to provide therapy independentlyComfort using an EHR and telehealth platformsExperience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc.Experience in outpatient or group practice settingsAbout Positive Change Counseling Center:Positive Change Counseling Center is a compassionate, client-centered mental health practice dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families create meaningful and lasting change.
