Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, a designated Level 3 Medical Home, is the largest federally qualified health center network in New York State, and the second largest in the nation. Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Intern. In this role, the successful candidate Project Facilitator interns will assist with shaping, planning and executing Project SAFE programming and will serve as role models for peer educators. Job Responsibilities: Meet with facilitator to plan group Help to set up and break down room on group days Co-facilitate peer education group Follow up with participants that miss group Debrief with facilitator after each group Serve as a role model in your group Review contact sheets at the beginning of each cycle Print out sign in sheets and make sure all participants sign in for groups and events Assist in planning events and trips Attend all events and trips Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Previous experience as a peer educator in Project SAFE program Senior in High School Preferred Qualifications: Strong leadership skills Strong interpersonal skills Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
