The successful candidate will work in a dynamic clinical environment providing both routine and complex care. This role requires a competent nurse who can practice independently while achieving both short-term and long-term care goals.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments using established protocols; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identify issues and resources.
• Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies and ANA Scope and Standards of Practice.

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred
• BLS certification from AHA required
• RN License in the state of employment or compact
