We are seeking a detail-driven In-Home Project Estimator & Consultant to serve as the face of our company during the initial phase of the customer journey. In this role, you aren't just calculating numbers—you are building trust, providing transparency, and ensuring a seamless, stress-free experience for homeowners looking to protect and transform their most valuable assets.

Key Responsibilities

• In-Home Consultations: Conduct professional, face-to-face consultative site visits with homeowners to understand their project requirements and expectations.
• Meticulous Property Assessments: Visit residential and commercial project sites to assess structural conditions, gather exact measurement data, and define the technical scope of work (prep standards, product needs, and coatings).
• On-the-Spot Estimating: Utilize our digital tablet-based quoting software to calculate accurate material costs, labor hours, and project timelines right in front of the client.
• Relationship-Based Presentation: Walk clients through clear, detailed, and transparent pricing presentations using custom company materials, explaining how our processes and warranties protect them.
• Consistent Pipeline Follow-Up: Maintain professional relationships with leads, manage your own pipeline, and follow up diligently on submitted proposals via CRM systems.
• Project Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Project Managers and Production Team to hand off clean, profitable, and visually accurate project blueprints to guarantee a "Zero-Punch" delivery.
• Performance Accountability: Track estimate accuracy on active projects against actual field results to continuously refine pricing databases and maintain consistent target margins.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of estimating or consultative sales experience in the residential painting, home-improvement, or contractor trades.
• Technical Skills: Strong mathematical/analytical abilities and proficiency with tablets, CRM systems, and estimation software.
• Appearance & Professionalism: Adherence to company branding guidelines (groomed appearance, clean haircut, khaki/black pants, and company-branded shirt).
• Mobility: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record for daily site visits.
• Compliance: Must be able to pass a standard criminal background check.
