Physical Therapist - Full-time

Position Overview Immediate Musculoskeletal Orthopedic Clinic is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at our Oakland, California facility. In this full-time, onsite role, you'll be instrumental in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, helping them to regain mobility and improve their overall quality of life through personalized treatment plans and evidence-based practices. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess each patient's condition and set individualized treatment goals. Develop and implement customized therapeutic exercise programs that address specific patient needs and recovery objectives. Utilize various manual therapy techniques to relieve pain and improve functional abilities. Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback. Document treatment outcomes and progress through electronic medical record (EMR) systems to maintain precise patient history. Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and the importance of adherence to therapy. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Incorporate fitness and wellness strategies into rehabilitation plans to encourage long-term health and injury prevention. Emphasize non-surgical approaches, advocating for conservative treatment modalities. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic serves a wide variety of patients, ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to individuals with chronic pain and mobility issues. You will work with adults and seniors, tailoring your treatment approaches to the specific needs of each demographic, recognizing the unique challenges they face in their rehabilitation journeys. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; advanced degrees such as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are highly preferred. Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California, with a clean record free of sanctions or board actions. Proficiency in orthopedic rehabilitation practices and manual therapy techniques. Experience in developing and executing individualized exercise regimens. Comfort with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for accurate patient documentation. Commitment to continued professional development, staying informed on the latest physical therapy research and methodologies. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, experience in a rehabilitation center or outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred. Familiarity with diverse patient populations and experience in specialized therapy areas such as sports medicine or geriatric care will be an advantage. A track record of successful patient outcomes and the ability to motivate individuals through their rehabilitation phases will help you excel in this role. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
