It has been recognized among the top hospitals in the nation for clinical quality year over year. The facility has received national acknowledgment for safety and patient care. It also holds prestigious designations for nursing excellence. This facility serves as a referral center for trauma and stroke care. There is a busy robotic surgery program and advanced cardiac care available. The unit consists of a med-surg floor with a specific number of beds and a diverse staff. Patient ratios during the day shift are in the range of 4-6 patients per nurse. Typical procedures on the unit include IV fluids, tube feeds, PEG feedings, and IV antibiotics. The best fit for this role is a team player willing to assist colleagues. All staff members must adhere to facility policies and guidelines. There are specific clock-in regulations prior to shifts. Weekend shifts are required as part of the scheduling.
