This role is ideal for someone looking for authentic exposure to the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.Primary Responsibilities:Shadow and participate in various types of client presentationsUtilize CRM and financial planning software systemsShadow and assist Financial Advisors with preparation of financial documents and performance reportsPerform research on stocks, bonds, and other securities, utilizing various investment software including Bloomberg, YCharts, HiddenLevers, Riskalyze, etc.Utilize back-end portfolio management software to assist in the organization of account linkups and portfolio maintenanceParticipate and present in Investment Committee and portfolio subcommittee meetingsLearn about and participate in portfolio optimization, rebalancing, and backtestingConduct independent research and build spreadsheets for financial planning opportunitiesWork with a team virtually to create a financial planning project or other projectsOther duties as assigned.Ideal Candidate Profile:Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPAMajoring in Communications, Marketing, Finance or related business degreeBe proficient in Microsoft Office ApplicationsActively participating in campus organizations, preferably within a leadership role, and/or professional work experienceWhy Cerity Partners:Direct exposure to senior leadership and decision-makers.The opportunity to work at one of the fastest-growing RIAs in America.Hands-on training to build and strengthen wealth management and financial planning skills.Experience within a culture that values collaboration, curiosity, and excellence.Cerity Partners is committed to providing an environment where all individuals can be their authentic selves.
