Gastroenterology Area Business Manager - Great Lakes

Pfizer seeks a Gastroenterology Area Business Manager to lead 6-10 sales representatives across the Great Lakes region. The role oversees district operations, sales performance, strategic planning, and customer relationships while ensuring compliance and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and develop 6-10 field representatives; manage hiring, coaching, and performance evaluations
Develop district strategic and business plans; oversee budgets and business potential achievement
Conduct in-field and virtual coaching; monitor marketing implementation and promotional effectiveness
Identify market trends through data analysis; collaborate on account development and regional priorities
Build relationships with healthcare customers, key opinion leaders, and cross-functional partners

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
3-5 years demonstrated leadership experience with peers and customers
Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales background preferred
Product and disease state knowledge in gastroenterology portfolio
Proficiency with digital tools and virtual communication platforms
Strong coaching, performance management, and team development skills
